Good Friends Are Forever

Just the perfect Sampler for your special Friends. Dedicated to our friend Diane Snyder who recently lost her husband, this sampler was designed for her in his memory. If you choose not to put names in the cartouche in the bottom, you can insert the flowers from the top border. We have kept the count the same so you can easily place them. Done on 28 Count Wichelt Country French Chantilly, and using 4 colors of luscious silk overdyed Gloriana Threads.

The LionHeart Diary Sampler

"LIONHEART" sampler is done on Natural Sienna 32 ct. linen. Threads used include Kreinik Silk Serica, Thread Gatherer, Mill Hill beads and Kreinik Metallics, braids and artificial pearls. You will be using 38 Thread Combinations on this beautifully sectioned sampler. The antique ribbon used in the border is available at the resource given. There is only a limited amount of this ribbon, so if you want it, please order it now! You will receive typical information in your chart pack including detailed instructions as the sampler was stitched and 3 pages of specialty stitches needed to complete the piece. The piece is 18" H X 14" W using 28 Count Wichelt Jobelan, color Khaki. The stitches used are Counted Cross, Four Sided, French Knot and Modified Smyrna. This 8 x 8 sampler is done in both red and blue on the same chart. You choose the color! Completed with Anchor and DMC conversion, Mill Hill Beads, this piece utilizes specialty stitches and basic cross stitch. Named for my father (Julius - Juliet) he is represented as the top bird in the family!
